Information Literacy Standard Six: The information literate student validates understanding and interpretation of the information through discourse with other individuals, subject-area experts, and.or practitioners.

Purpose: This module will provide first year college students with the basic knowledge and skills to successfully interact in asynchronous discussion forums.

This module will take 10 minutes to complete.

After completion of this module you will be able to:

• Apply basic guidelines for successful online collaboration.
• Effectively respond to a main topic.
• Write an appropriate response to a colleague's contributions.
