Library rules and regulations:     

   There is no smoking, drinking or eating within the main reading room.

   Please turn off all cellular phones when in the Library.

   No disruptive or anti-social behavoir will be tolerated.

   Individuals are expected to maintain a quiet demeanor and respect for the collection and other patrons.

   All instructions by staff members or displayed within the Library must be followed by patrons. The library reserves the right to request any disruptive patron to leave the facility or contact the authorities should these rules not be followed.

Access policies:
   Anyone who is conducting research or study on the history of the Pacific Northwest is welcome to visit the library. The library provides an open stack environment to the majority of the printed materials onsite. Other materials are only viewable under the supervision of a reference librarian and are referenced as such in the LPNW catalog. It is highly suggested that an appointment to view these materials is arranged before hand.

Circulation policies:
   Only members of the participating organizations can check out materials. These are loaned on a two week basis and will require a personal account to be created.
