1. What are the hours of the Library?

    Public access
     Monday - Thursday: 11:00pm - 4:00pm
     Friday: 11:00am – 4:00 pm
   Onsite research assistance
     Monday & Wednesday: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
     Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
     Friday: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

2. What types of materials are in the collection?

   There are three types of materials in this collection.
     1. Printed resources that can be circulated.
     2. Materials of a rare or fragile nature. These are only viewable under the          supervision of a reference librarian and are not circulating.
     3. Online catalogs and databases. These are accessible through the 5 computer          terminals located onsite.

3. How can I check out materials?

   If you are already a member of a participating organization, you can supply their membership or identification card and receive a barcode specific to the Library of the Pacific Northwest. An account will be created for you in our system so along with participating organizations idenfication card, you will need to provide a form of government issued identification, like a drivers liscence as well as your email address, home address and telephone number. Once your account is created and in our system you will be able to check out certain materials for a two week period.

4. Can I use the library if I am not a member of a participating organization?

   Yes. You are welcome to come to the library and register at the front desk. This will provide you access to the onsite printed and online collections. However you will not have any circulation priveledges.

5. How can my organization collaborate with the library?

   Please contact Han Stowing, the Collaboration Manager at stowing@libraryofthepacificnorthwest.org for details.

6. Is the library accessible to individuals with disabilities?

   Yes. The new library building is completely accessible to all individuals. We have onsite computer readers and other facilities onsite for reading materials and accessing online content. Please feel free to contact us if you have any specific concerns or requirements.
